So if San Antonio is so close to Houston and the drive is as easy as I claim, then why don’t I spend more time in San Antonio?

So when Melanie, my friend and former co-worker, moved to San Antonio, I was happy for her professionally, but I secretly thought “ok girl, that’s good luck.” Over the years, EVERY TIME I talked to Melanie, she always had something amazing to say about San Antonio. Where she and her husband went. Where did they eat? Where they took the drink. And I never understood why he loved San Antonio so much. Honestly, I just don’t understand. But looking back now, I probably didn’t try to get him because I decided San Antonio “wasn’t for me.”

A few months ago, Melanie actually posted on Instagram (follow her, she’s so cute) and posted her beautiful photos around San Antonio that weren’t really the Riverwalk or the Alamo. And I have to admit it piqued my interest.

When Melanie invited me to San Antonio for the weekend, I couldn’t resist. He promised to take me on a whirlwind tour of all the most beautiful places in his city and show me why it is such a great place to visit and live. Thanks Melanie, I LOVE San Antonio now!
