Steve and I (Linda) live in Austin, Texas. Steve owns a tile company in Austin and I am a consultant. Steve was born in West Texas. I am originally from NJ but have lived in Texas most of my life. All of our children were born in Houston. We especially love the Austin and Bastrop area and may retire there one day.
We were lucky enough to find this amazing cabin on the Colorado River in Bastrop, owned by my sister’s ex-boyfriend. We couldn’t believe our luck once we saw how beautiful and peaceful it was. We fell in love! It’s a great place for our family to gather. We fish, swim, kayak, bike, play ping pong and yes, relax from the stress of our hectic lives.
There is a private dock in the backyard where you can sit and fish or launch a boat or kayak. The cabins are clean and tidy. It is very large with vaulted ceilings in the living room. Mayan Family hammocks are usually located in the cabin, but can easily be installed on the upper deck.
