Snowmass is full of condos and rentals, all within a few minutes’ walk of the lifts, as well as the Limelight branch, which opened in 2018.

How To Ski Year Round In Colorado

Don’t miss the unique Ullr Festival, a festival honoring Norway’s snow god, returning in December 2021 after a hiatus due to COVID.
Telluride is a little more difficult to get to than some of the other ski resorts in Colorado, but it’s worth it. Not only is it one of the most beautiful places to ski in Colorado, with a Wild West-like town nestled between majestic 4,000-foot peaks, it’s also full of long, satisfying runs, including the aptly named See Forever Descent.
Your time here is split between the towns of Telluride and Mountain Village, which are connected by a scenic cable car. The town is only 12 x 8 blocks, but contains many art galleries, shops, restaurants and historic buildings. Meanwhile, Mountain Village is only a few decades old and has a more European feel. Hotel options here are the Inn at Lost Creek and the Madeline, an Auberge Resorts Collection hotel.
Telluride has a small airport (Telluride Regional Airport) on a plateau at 9,000 feet, but most visitors fly into Montrose Regional Airport, a 90-minute drive away, or Denver, which is seven hours away.
