While passing through Midtown, you can visit Central Park at any station. There is always something going on and you can’t miss it.
If you visit in winter, go ice skating in the park, if you come in summer, go sailing on the lake. Alternatively, if it rains, head to the world famous American Museum of Natural History.
It’s easily one of the best things to do in Manhattan, especially if you want a break from the busy streets.

Perhaps one of the most famous skyscrapers in the world, the Empire State Building is hard to miss.
If you want, book tickets to the top of the Empire State Building to get a great view of the city. Moreover, these tickets have added skip the line, so you don’t waste time.
Well, so technically not in Manhattan (but on Liberty Island), the Statue of Liberty is a must see in the city.
Perhaps the most famous symbol of the United States, sightseeing is one of the best things to do in Manhattan.

Now, you can join one of the boat trips (which drops you on the island) from lower Manhattan. From here, you will take a tour of the Statue of Liberty, which usually takes three to four hours and also takes you to Ellis Island.
However, be aware that you may have to queue at peak times. So to cut down on your queues, book a Liberty View ticket that also includes a visit to Ellis Island.
